1ClickWebsite V2 Release Notes
V2 is a new version of 1ClickWebsite built from the ground up to make generated sites easier to edit, easier for AI agents to work with, and easier for us to improve over time.
V1 was built on top of Breakdance and a more traditional WordPress setup. It worked, and it helped prove the core idea: a business owner or agency should be able to create a useful WordPress site in a few minutes.
V2 keeps that same goal, but changes the foundation. Instead of relying mainly on a visual builder, V2 uses our OCF system, structured fields, cleaner templates, and a more agent-friendly editing model.

Why V2 Exists
The main reason for V2 is simple: AI agents need a cleaner way to understand and change websites.
Breakdance is powerful for humans, but it is not the easiest foundation for an AI agent to safely edit. V2 was built around a more structured system so the agent can understand what each section, field, image, page, and design setting actually does.
That makes the sites easier for AI to change, but it also helps humans. Basic edits like changing text, replacing images, adjusting colors, switching light or dark mode, and updating site content should be easier and more predictable.
In plain English: V2 exists because the future of 1ClickWebsite is not just generating a site once. The future is generating a site, improving it, editing it, expanding it, and letting an AI agent handle most of the normal website tasks an agency would otherwise do manually.
Current Status
V2 works today. You can deploy a V2 site, edit content and images, and use the Website Agent for many normal website tasks.
It is still being actively improved. You may run into bugs, rough edges, or places where a template section needs more polish. If that happens, please report it through support chat so it can be added to the development list.
The three V2 templates currently available are still being improved. They should not be treated as the final quality bar for the whole system. Carbon is currently the main flagship template, and it is the first template getting the most detailed polish pass.
What Is Being Improved Next
The next design push is making the templates feel more premium. That means going section by section and tightening the details:
- spacing
- borders
- card shadows
- button states
- section variations
- mobile layouts
- image behavior
- the overall feeling of each page
The goal is not just to make V2 functional. The goal is to make V2 sites feel like high-quality agency websites that happen to be generated quickly.
Lead Gen V2
Lead Gen V2 is planned for Friday, June 19th.
This release is focused on making prospecting much easier for agencies and freelancers.
The idea is that you will be able to upload a CSV of Google businesses and generate batches of mini websites. These mini sites are less resource-intensive than full website generations, but still complete enough to demo to a potential client.
Lead Gen V2 is also being built with API and agent workflows in mind, including use through Claude Code and other AI agent platforms.
Development North Star
The long-term goal is for 1ClickWebsite to generate websites that are not just good for a five-minute AI build.
The goal is for these sites to become better than many $10,000 custom marketing agency websites.
That is the direction V2 is built around: better templates, deeper content, stronger SEO, easier editing, better AI control, and a workflow that lets agencies move faster without giving up quality.
The target market will continue to be agency owners and marketing freelancers. That is who the product is being built for, and that is the lens for future development.
FAQs
Will V1 still be supported and available?
Yes. V1 is still available from the create page toggle, and existing V1 sites are still supported. V2 is the newer direction for the platform, but V1 is not being removed right now.
What is the OCF plugin?
OCF is the custom WordPress system behind V2 sites. It gives each site structured fields, visual editing controls, design settings, and the REST API endpoints the Website Agent uses to understand and update the site.
Can I use Breakdance on V2 sites?
V2 sites are not built around Breakdance. They are built around OCF and the V2 template system. You still get WordPress admin access, but the recommended way to edit V2 sites is through OCF, the visual editor, and the Website Agent.
Will the V2 Website Agent work on both V1 and V2 sites?
The new V2 Website Agent is built for V2 sites because it depends on OCF and the structured editing system. V1 sites can still be supported, but the deeper agent editing features are designed for V2.
Can I migrate a V2 site and still use the Website Agent afterward?
Yes. You can still migrate sites. After migration, make sure the domain is updated in your dashboard so the Website Agent knows where the site now lives. Once the domain is updated, the Website Agent can still connect to it.
How does SMTP email work on V2 sites?
On our hosting, SMTP setup is more automatic than before and should work out of the box. If you migrate the site to your own hosting, you can still adjust or replace the email setup through FluentSMTP inside WordPress.
